WHIP opened the doors in 1983 to help 61571 residents. WHIP continues to serve residents of 61571 through donations from churches, businesses, individuals and civic organizations. The WHIP staff is all volunteers serving during distribution hours.

WHIP is open the first and third Wednesday of the month from
8:30-11:00 AM, and 4:30-6:00 PM.

NOTE: You must be a 61571 resident and you are required to bring a utility bill or lease agreement with proof of 61571 residency to receive food and your ID. WHIP DOES NOT SERVE OUTSIDE OF 61571.
Donations- Food donations can be dropped off during distribution hours. Bring food to the side door stating "donations" to drop off food. There is a cabinet on the side of our space that food donations may be placed in. WHIP does not accept expired or opened food.

Qualifications to Receive Food and How to Sign Up
To be eligible to receive food from WHIP, you must be a resident of 61571.
To sign up, bring proof of residency in the 61571 with a current piece of mail or utility bill, an ID, and a laundry basket or reusable shopping bags to take your food home. You will select the food you want and limits are based on the size of your family.
